Still stayed around the campsite, swimming in the ocean and the pool and sleeping and reading and doing Sudoku puzzles and spider solitaire. Liz found some friends to hang with.

Same as above, except Liz’s friends left. Pictures are of Liz at the southernmost point in the US, John standing in an archway in a public garden in Key West & me in the same garden.

Moved on down to Key West. Staying at a really nice campsite. Spent the day bicycling around the town. Hot and muggy so within 5 minutes we were soaking wet. Key West is a really interesting place. We stopped twice to look at the map and both times someone stopped and asked if we were lost. I found the area that Mom and me walked around when we were on our cruise 15 years ago. All in all we were biking for about 4 hours (which I think should count for about 8 Curves workouts!) I don’t want to sit on my bike for a couple of days.

Spent the few days in the Keys, mostly swimming. Unfortunately the weather was windy so most of the time the water was whipped up which made bad snorkeling. The swimming was great and we went from the private c
ampsites to Bahia Honda State Park where we stayed for 3 days. The beaches there were great so we spend the days beaching, cycling & Liz even did some fishing. Because it was windy the weather for us was really pleasant, really warm but the mugginess wasn’t so bad. We really enjoyed the Keys and came to appreciate their strange beauty.
After we left the Keys we spent the day at Miami Beach. We now know why it is so popular. It is lots of sand and warm water that never gets very deep. Not as wavy as our west coast but that might have been the particular day we were there. After the beach we travelled up nearer Orlando, found a movie theatre where we watched “The Duchess” (not bad) and then stayed in a Rest Stop. It was cooler and windy so I had the best sleep.
Sunday, October 19- Sunday, October 24
Checked into the Fort Wilderness Camp Ground in the Walt Disney World. We are here for a week. We have 4 days of Disney stuff and a couple of days at the Water Parks so we are doing everything Disney for the next while.
The campground is really nice. There are buses and boats to all the attractions plus it’s own programming (mostly for younger families). We are really enjoying ourselves. We went to a really great restaurant call T-Rex which, as you may guess, is everything dinosaur. We have a pterodactyl behind us...Liz is in the Ice Cave which changes colour every few minuites. They even had meteor showers once in a while. We enjoyed it, even though we were eating dinner at around 10 pm!

We ended up going to all 4 theme parks & 2 waterparks. It rained one day (the day we decided to do nothing) so all in all we really had a great time in Disney World.
PS: there are a lot more pictures of course!
Zippety doo dah is played constantly still...Disney World is so different from Disneyland cause it is spread over 4 parks so everything is bigger. The biggest surprise was Epcot, I guess we weren't expecting too much as it doesn't have the big rides, but the rides it had were informational and fun at the same time. Animal Kingdom had real animals not animatronics which I was expecting, to it was fun too. Blizzard Beach water park has a 140 ft drop slide similar to Cultas. John did that one, you have to take a chair lift to get to it. He was very proud of himself, Liz and I did this wild tube ride which left me screaming (not hard to do!)

Zippety doo dah, zip.........hmmm, I guess that's kind of old school Disney........you'll have to let us know what's the latest at Disney World, "the most magical place on earth." Glad to hear you've been soaking up that Florida sunshine and enjoying the ocean.
